About Peake Agency

Founded in 2016, Peake Agency is proudly located next to the dealership in the historic former Heluva Good Cheese Factory.

Our journey began under the leadership of Thaddeus A. Peake IV as a captive Farmers Insurance agency. This initial partnership helped establish the Peake Agency name within the community. However, it soon became clear that our ability to serve clients was limited by access to only one carrier’s rates.

Recognizing the need to offer truly competitive coverage tailored to each client, Thad IV made the strategic decision to transition Peake into an independent brokerage. To make this change, we sold our entire Farmers client book back to the company—starting over completely to better serve our clients.

Resilience Through Adversity

Just as we began to rebuild, the COVID-19 pandemic hit. With the world in lockdown and face-to-face interactions at a standstill, the agency remained open—because insurance is essential. There was no foot traffic, no vehicle sales, and no Peake Off-Road division. No leads were handed to us. Every policy was earned through persistent cold calling and outreach.

This period tested our resolve—but also defined us.

Every policy in our book represents determination, trust, and our commitment to doing things the right way. We built our agency one conversation at a time, and we continue to grow with the same integrity and client-first mindset that started it all.
